Eurocentric beauty standards, Eurocentric science, and every system rooted in white supremacy is threatened by the universal truth of fat, indigenous female sexuality. No matter how many of our ceremonies they try to weaponize against us, they can’t take our healing. Sex is still a ceremony and fat, indigenous female sexuality is still powerful and beautiful. Love to everyone, but especially to all the fat native hotties. Keep sizzling.

Amber Webb is a Curyung tribal member currently residing in Aleknagik, Alaska. After graduating from UAA with a BA in woven fibers with a minor in history in 2013, she designed apparel featuring Yugtun words to encourage language revival and continuation. In 2018, she was awarded a Rasmuson Foundation Individual Project Award. Her work visually explores the evolution and strength of indigenous people after genocide and intergenerational trauma. She is studying Yupik graphic styles and symbols to tell contemporary stories. She is also known for the qaspeq project in honor of MMIWG2S+ that she hopes to bring to more communities in Canada and the US. See more of her work on Instagram @imarpikink

Nalgona Positivity Pride (NPP) is an in-community eating disorders and body-positive organization dedicated in creating visibility and resources for Black, Indigenous, communities of color (BICC.) Since 2016, NPP has been raising awareness around the specific needs of BICC through digital media, education, grassroots eating disorders treatment models, and art. Rooted in Xicana indigenous feminism and DIY punx praxis, NPP emerged out of a great need not only to shed light on the experiences and barriers that exist in BICC affected by body-image and troubled eating but to create opportunities of healing by and for BICC.
